Update - Huge theft bust at Caesar Creek Flea Market connected to ORC - drug trafficking and MORE TO COME  This is an investigation into the systematic theft of items from retail stores such as Kroger and CVS Pharmacy throughout the area,” said Stanforth. “People from Fayette County were involved. The stolen items were being sold from Caesar Creek at 100 percent profit. We believe this has a direct connection to the financing of of drug trafficking operations.” Stanforth also said indictments served Friday in Jeffersonville are believed to have a direct connection to the Caesar Creek theft ring. Loss prevention departments from Kroger and CVS are also at Caesar Creek participating in the investigation. Developing Story - ORC ring operating in New Providence, N.J.?
According to police, more than $4,000 worth of over-the-counter pharmaceutical products were removed from the shelves of a Springfield Ave. store on June 13th., by two males and a female who fled the store. The suspects involved have been identified and charges are pending, police said. (Source nj.com)


Delaware couple arrested on multiple theft charges from the Cambridge Walmart.  On June 24, 2013 and June 28, 2013 Cambridge Police responded to Walmart for reported thefts from the store. The suspects entered the store and stole computers, televisions and other items having a value of under $1000.00 on each date. Investigation in both thefts revealed that they were committed by the same subjects. Investigation by Police identified the suspects as 33-year-old Michael Edward Brummell and Bobbi Jo Spry. Brummell was charged with the following and he was held on $25,000.00 bond; Theft less than $1,000.00 (2counts), Theft Scheme less than $10,000.00, Trespass on Private Property, Possession of Heroin and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. Brummell was also found to be fugitive from the state of Delaware and is currently being held in the Dorchester County Detention Center on NO BOND. Spry was charged with theft less than $1,000.00 (2counts), theft scheme less than $10,000.00 and drug charges. (Source newszap.com)

Career Criminal sought in baby formula thefts in Easton, Massachusetts.  Police in Massachusetts have issued a warrant for the arrest of Andrew Gaskell who already has eight active warrants issued for him. Gaskell’s recent crime is the theft of baby formula from several Hannaford’s Supermarkets. During an incident in Milford, Gaskell pulled a knife on the Loss Prevention agent. Following a high speed chase, when faced with arrest, he stabbed himself. Gaskell has a lengthy rap sheet in Florida for thefts, burglaries, assault and escape and has been in jail in Florida and Rhode Island. (Source wickedlocal.com)
