Salvation Army Christmas Kettles Stolen in Mississauga
The Salvation Army has
been the victim of a theft at one of the Christmas Kettle locations in
Mississauga Erin Mills area. The Salvation Army is working with Peel Regional
Police to identify the individual. It has been reported that the individual
approached the Kettle worker dressed as a Salvation Army Officer and claimed he
was there to collect the Kettle. (Source

Armed robbery of Shoppers Drug Mart in Windsor, Ontario
Windsor Police are investigating an armed robbery which occurred Saturday night
at a Tecumseh Road Shoppers Drug Mart. According to police, a male suspect
entered the store at 500 Tecumseh Road East around 7:30 pm, jumped the counter,
and demanded drugs. He then fled the scene with an unspecified quantity of
prescription drugs. No injuries were reported. (Source

Thieves target Sherwood Park, Edmonton Salvation Army thrift store
Staff at a Sherwood Park Salvation Army thrift shop are cleaning up after
thieves broke into the store earlier this week. Karin Adshead, the store
manager, received a call from RCMP early Tuesday morning saying someone had
smashed through the store’s front door. Adshead says nothing else was taken from
the store. She estimates the jewelery would have brought in about $3,000 from
