Job Title: Regional Loss Prevention Manager
FLSA Designation: Exempt, Salaried
REPORTS TO: Director, Loss Prevention

LOCATION: RSC
SUMMARY:
The following is a brief description of responsibilities to be
performed by the Regional Loss Prevention Manager. Job
responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducts
internal investigations related to theft, business
abuse, and safety violations by conducting
interviews, determining course of action, and
writing reports.
• Formal interview training, i.e.
Wicklander-Zulawski or Reid Techniques.
• Monitors compliance with loss prevention policies
and programs including routine audits/checklists for
internal/external controls.
• Develops, manages and monitors loss prevention
programs.
• Develops a working understanding of exception
reporting.
• Trains store management and employees on LP
policies and procedures.
• Monitors access to store sites and respond to
after-hours security problems.
• Promotes a climate of LP awareness at the store
level.
• Travels to stores for investigations 40% of the
time.
• Works effectively with all levels of field and
senior management.
• Ensures completion of and follows up on LP Store
Audits/Checklists for compliance with Company
policies and procedures.
• Understands, supports and complies with all
Company policies and procedures.
• Protects Company assets through enforcing Loss
Prevention policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates professionalism, leadership and
self-confidence.
• Represents Company as a mentor, pro-active leader
and problem solver.
• Fosters a work environment that inspires trust,
respect, professionalism and teamwork to achieve
goals.
• Encourages team building while developing District
Managers and Store Management to be independent and
confident.
• Remains flexible and responsive while
demonstrating an “ownership” mentality.
• Exhibits a sense of urgency when reacting to
Company issues.
• Understands, enforces and supports all Tilly’s
policies, procedures and directives ensuring
compliance.
• Provides RSC management with accurate, timely,
well thought out paperwork, projects, assignments
and new ideas. |
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to
fulfill all Essential Duties and Responsibilities
listed above.
• Flexibility in work schedule and hours including;
weekends, holidays and peak selling periods.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly by air
and/or car, with overnight stays, as business
dictates.
• Formal Interviewing Training and or
Certifications, i.e. W-Z, Reid, CFI.
• Exception Based Reporting analysis and
proficiency.
• Proven leadership, motivational, development and
organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and
written.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
in a demanding and continuously evolving
environment.
• Ability to take the initiative to handle
situations effectively and in a timely manner.
• Accepts criticism and direction from all levels of
the organization, handling it appropriately.
• Adheres to Company guidelines of dependability,
including attendance requirements.
• Presents self well which includes appropriate
dress, cleanliness and appropriate verbal
communication.
• Basic laptop proficiency, i.e. MS Office
Applications, VPN, etc.
• Basic knowledge of LP Technology, i.e. CCTV,
Burglary Alarm Systems, EAS. |
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 3 –
5 years of experience of multi-store experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred. |
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• Excellent
interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in English. |
