Virginia based Jewelry theft ring leader pleads guilty.
The accused leader of a jewelry theft ring pleaded guilty to
racketeering conspiracy before a U.S. Magistrate Friday. Cuadros-Garcia
is accused of leading a group that stole more than $4.6 million
in jewelry from victims in seven states. The group would follow
jewelry store customers to their home, and then violently take
the merchandise. Cuadros-Garcia faces a maximum penalty of 20
years in prison. Three co-defendants previously pleaded guilty
for their roles in the theft ring and were sentenced to serve 87
