Angelica Rodriguez, former
Sr. Director of Loss Prevention for the National
Retail Federation, is now the Major Gifts Officer
for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial
Fund.
Retail loss prevention partners with
law enforcement like no other industry. As such, a
very important bridge between the two was built when
Angelica Rodriguez, NRF's former Senior Director of
Loss Prevention, joined the
National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund
on March 25th as their new Major Gifts Officer.
The Memorial Fund is dedicated to honoring and
remembering the service and sacrifice of law
enforcement officers in the U.S. and built/maintains
the nation’s monument to law enforcement officers
killed in the line of duty.
In her new role Angelica will work firsthand with
corporations and individuals nationwide on their
partnership with the Memorial Fund to help fund the
construction of the first-ever Law Enforcement
Museum. The Museum is scheduled to open in 2015 and
already has some fascinating artifacts such as the
DC sniper car, J. Edgar Hoover collection, the gun
Al Capone was carrying when he was arrested and much
more. If you wonder what she’s busy with right now,
there’s no shortage – take a look into her first 90
days.
