Counterfeit Chainsaws being sold in Canada. 
An internet based business was busted by the RCMP selling counterfeit Husqvarna chainsaws out of the suspects garage and basement. The counterfeit chainsaws do not meet the safety requirements and unlawfully used a forged trademark. The suspect was arrested and his inventory was seized in Kapuskasing. The suspect is expected to face a judge today. (Source newswire.ca)

Busy week for Cargo thieves in Ontario. 
On Monday a trailer carrying $90,000 worth of truck tires were stolen while the driver was away from his truck. The following day, 24 pallets of Powerade energy drinks were recovered in a trailer in Montreal. Police are searching for the owner. (Source todaystrucking.com)


Two suspects sought in distraction theft of a laptop from Staples in Duncan. The security cable was cut by the suspects, then the female distracted the area associate as the male suspect concealed the Apple MacBook and fled the store. Associates discovered the laptop was missing a short time later and notified police. (Source cowichannewsleader.com)
