Three suspects charged with Organized Retail Theft at Toys R Us in Houston; theft is estimated at tens of thousand of dollars.  Three suspects were hitting several Toys R Us store in the Houston area, the Harris County District Attorney believes the group got away with tens of thousands of dollars in merchandise and gift cards. The trio shoplifted items, returned them for gift cards where they would then purchase electronic items which were easily sold on the street. (Source myfoxhouston.com)

Major credit card theft ring busted in Westerville, OH.  The suspects are accused of recruiting restaurant and other business workers to skim customer credit cards. Westerville police say they've been watching the credit card theft ring for months. "They would pay them for skimming cards. Normally it would be ten dollars a number," said Westerville Police Lt. Paul Scowden. Police say the suspects would encode stolen credit card numbers onto the magnetic strips of prepaid gift cards. "There's definitely in the hundreds of thousands of fraud," said Lt. Allentown, PA., ORC duo busted stealing baby formula
Police say the incident began around 5:45 p.m. Friday when 42-year-old Hector Vincente Rosa and 34-year-opld Stephen Rodriguez conspired to steal 18 cans of infant formula powder from the Wal-Mart on Millcreek Road in Lower Macungie Township. (Source wfmz.com)


ORC duo hitting Walmart stores in Lancaster County, SC - police ask for public assistance  On April 7th, 11th, and 24th the first unknown suspect entered Walmart and loaded electronics into a buggy before pushing them out of the door without paying. On April 26th the same suspect returned with a second suspect and stole more electronics from the store. A total of $4750 worth of merchandise was stolen during the four incidents.
