Toronto 11 Division to launch “Wanted Ones” on Facebook and Twitter.  The success of the new social media campaign was started by the 55 Division of the Toronto Police Department with ‘Wanted Wednesday’ a way to keep people informed of suspects in their community. Police chase down shoplifter fleeing Walmart in St. Catherines with $800 of merchandise.  The 20 minute foot chase through the back yards of homes on Crestcombe Road ended with the suspect being arrested. The suspect had fled the Walmart with $800 of merchandise. That merchandise was later recovered. The suspect now faces charges of theft and was also wanted on an outstanding warrant. Shoppers store in Kimberley hit for $1000 in Visa Gift cards purchased with a stolen credit card.   Shoppers was recently notified that a $1000 transaction was actually processed with a stolen credit card. Shoppers gave no explanation for the charge back from a transaction back in February. The young suspect managed to purchase $1000 worth of Visa Gift cards. (Source dailytownsman.com)
