Two Chicago ‘professional shoplifters’ busted in Framingham,
Massachusetts
Zitari Abdelouahid, 31, and Moncef Faci, 30, are suspected of targeting
Nordstrom and T.J. Maxx stores all over the northeast. On Monday, security
guards at Nordstrom Rack said two men had just stolen a large amount of
clothing. Framingham police followed the two men to TJ Maxx, where they found
Abdelouahid in a dressing room cutting security tags from clothes. The men
matched the descriptions of men linked to other thefts at Nordstrom stores and
T.J. Maxx. Abdelouahid had about $5,600 worth of clothing with him, but no money
or ID. In the car, police found more than $2,700 worth of clothing that had been
stolen from Nordstrom Rack. They also found clothing from Marshall's and
other
Nordstrom stores.

Walmart Loss Prevention in Royal Palm Beach, FL apprehend one, second gets away
in $800 razor theft
A Walmart Loss Prevention agent noticed the two men as they were clearing out a
shelf of razors, and then concealed the items in a backpack in the Girl’s
department. The pair split up and 45 year old Osvaldo Arecibia was wearing the
backpack as he exited the store. Arencibia was arrested, while the second man
got away. Charged with grand theft, Arencibia remained in the Palm Beach County
Jail late Tuesday. He's being held in lieu of $3,000
bail.

New York Shoplifter attempts to steal 37 hats from Lord & Taylor;
facing charges of robbery Grady
Thompson was charged with second-degree
robbery, fourth-degree larceny, third-degree assault and possession of a
controlled substance, after concealing 37 Ralph Lauren hats, valued at over $500
in a shopping bag. As Thompson attempted to flee the store the Loss Prevention
agent attempting the apprehension was punched in the face.

Three Florida men pulled over for a bad headlight;
Police discover $20,000 in
merchandise A faulty headlight
brought three men
riding in a Honda CRV to the attention of Sunrise police, who said they found
$20,039 in merchandise stolen from Sawgrass Mills stores during a traffic stop
along West Sunrise Boulevard on Saturday night. The three suspects were charged
with grand theft, dealing in stolen property and two counts of possessing a
device to thwart anti-shoplifting controls. One suspect told police the items
belonged to the men and that they were in the process of moving, according to
Sunrise police arrest reports. Beneath a sheet in the back of the SUV, police
found more than 200 new shirts with tags and anti-theft sensors still attached.
The Tommy Hilfiger Factory Store, Coach and Ralph Lauren Boys stores at Sawgrass
Mills were listed as victims on the arrest reports.

Halifax, NS Canada Police are seeking the identity of a Trio hitting Best Buy
and Future Shops
Halifax police are searching for a trio of suspects who shoplifted more than
$5,000 worth of Apple TVs and high-end thermostats last month from three
electronics stores. Police said the suspects worked with each other inside the
stores using wireless communication.
