ORC ring testing new Outlet's of Mississippi one day into grand opening in Pearl, Mississippi  Not even a day into the grand opening weekend, a possible shoplifting ring is already targeting stores at the Outlets of Mississippi, Pearl police said. Police said shoplifters started at the Levi's Outlet store then made their way next door to the Nike Outlet. Employees said the two men managed to take the sensor tags off at least six items inside the Levi's store before workers stopped them. Employees said they noticed the two men, but they made a quick getaway before they got caught. Police wouldn't say if the men got away with anything. Pearl police officials said they have extra officers at the outlet mall. (Source wapt.com)

Houston ORC gang of 5 (3 females & 2 males) busted in hair extensions heists & Hitting Academy store  Two of five suspects arrested last Monday for shoplifting at an Academy Store in Webster have been connected to a shoplifting scheme where hair extensions were stolen in the Houston area. The five suspects collectively stole 28 pairs of pants, 16 shirts, four sweaters, four jackets and six hoodies. They were all booked into jail. Flannagan and Kennon were also connected to a hair heist that happened a few months prior where between $15,000 and $20,000 dollars worth of hair was taken. All five have been arrested. Two females hit Mason, Mi., retailer for 12 Vera Bradley purses - eye in the sky taped them  The theft of 12 Vera Bradley purses from a downtown business was reported Nov. 6 to Mason police. the video surveillance system) did witness the theft by two female suspects — one lookout and one performing the lifting and stuffing into a backpack.
