McMinnville, Oregon's Tactical Support Team raided an Amity area residence this week and arrested Adam Scroggins, 38, on charges of running a retail theft ring.  Police say the tactical team was used in the arrest due to "safety concerns because of the extensive criminal history of the key suspect and his associates." McMinnville detectives say they recovered stolen property worth about $5,000. They added that they also discovered numerous items of drug paraphrenalia and a small amount of illegal drugs found during the search. No other details were released. (Source oregonlive.com)
