Position Description


Restoration Hardware is looking for a LOSS PREVENTION OPERATIONS COORDINATOR to join our Loss Prevention and Internal Audit team.

Primary Responsibilities


 

● Various administrative duties for internal audit and loss prevention
● Communicating changes and vendor management including monitoring, analyzing and investigating:
             ○ Alarm companies
             ○ Guard services
             ○  Camera companies
             ○ Key/Access Control
● Data entry and management
●  Filter incoming Loss Preveniton emails by entering it into the case log, assigning case numbers, etc.
● Setting up case files
● Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, Discover, AMEX and PLCC private label cardit card) investigations by performing address and card holder verifications
● Capture Commercial Ware (order management system) and Connected Retailer (Point of Sale) attributes into excel by reviewing orders/notes and reports
● Review and respond to Customer Service inquiries
● Investigate suspicious clients reported by the Galleries
● Manage Restricted Client letters by drafting, sending and updating the master file
● Research fraud NSF checks
● Investigate cash over/short variances
● Review and repond to Subpoena requests
● Tracking and management of restitution checks
● Scheduling department meetings and prepping meeting materials
● Order supplies
● Expense tracking


Skills Required

Job Related Competencies:
 

● Retail Loss Prevention background is plus
● Ability to develop reports
●  Demonstrates excellent communication skills both oral and written
● Inquisitive investigative skills who takes initiative and demonstrates leadership
● Experience working in fast paced work environment while maintaining detail, organization and discretion
● Ability to process sensitive material and maintain a high level of confidentiality
● Strong analytical experience
● Embraces change and challenge at a moment’s notice
● True team player, ability to work effectively with peers and other departments
● Sound judgment, ability to anticipate and resolve issues promptly and efficiently


Technical Expertise:

 

● Microsoft Office
● Excel skills (pivot table, vlookups, etc)
● PowerPoint
● Gmail Applications
● Internet savvy and eager to learn new applications


Education/Training:
 

● Retail Loss Prevention background a plus
● Wicklander Zulawski Interview certified a plus
● Finance degree/Business degree/Criminal Justice degrees preferred
