Woodville Walmart theft could be part of larger theft ring. On January 3, a woman was arrested outside of Walmart with several items of jewelry in her purse. While she was being transported to jail, another woman was found at the same Walmart with items from another store that she could not produce receipts for. Upon further investigation, it is believed that these two women were conspiring with a ring of other people in a Walmart scam that covers 16 counties in Texas.  (Source easttexasnews.com)

A former human-resources manager of Trident Seafoods in Anacortes is being charged with several counts of theft. Reports indicate that he funneled paychecks of former employees into his own bank account, dating from 2008 until he was fired in August of 2011. It is alleged that he deposited almost $200,000 from the accounts of temporary employees for personal use.  (Source seattletimes.com)
