Tigard Police Investigating Retail Organized Theft from Nordstrom at Washington Square Mall in Portland, Ore. The Commercial Crimes Unit within the Tigard Police Department is currently investigating an Organized Retail Theft which occurred at the Nordstrom store. Tigard Police are asking the help of the public in hopes to identify the suspects who allegedly stole over 40 designer jeans valued at over $8,000. (Source kuik.com)

ORC ring operating at Tanger Outlet Center in Beaufort County, Ga. Six suspects have been indentified after hitting Sunglass Hut numerous times and taking more than 40 pairs of designer sunglasses at a time. All of the suspects are believed to live in Savannah or Garden City, Ga. (Source islandpacket.com)

ORC Gang ordered to pay back Verizon $1 million in restitution. California Supreme Court has ordered the 4 men and one woman to pay $1 Million in restitution for 1800 Apple iPhones which have never been recovered from a heist. Ohio will hold it's first ever ORC Conference in June. On June 6, 2012, the Ohio Retail Organized Crime Coalition (OROCC) will hold the Symposium in Columbus, OH. With 115 people already registered to attend and at least eight guest speakers, the event is intended to provide education to partners across the state about ORC.
