Newly formed law enforcement/retail partnership in Las Vegas leads to multiple arrests and seizures at local market A lengthy ORC operation initiated by Smith’s Food & Drug (a Kroger Co.) conducting reverse buys with Sam’s Club, Las Vegas Metro PD and ATF led to the execution of multiple federal and local search warrants and arrests. It was announced today that Debbie Ho (Target Corporation) will succeed George Torres as the Retail Co-Chair of the Los Angeles Area Organized Retail Crimes Association (LAAORCA). Debbie has been an instrumental part of the organization since it was founded in 2009. LAAORCA is a cooperative effort between retailers, the Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, U.S. Secret Service and many other Southern California law enforcement agencies. The organization was developed to share case intelligence and work collaboratively on retail crime prevention and investigations.
