Two men steal 500 canaries from Florida breeder to sell to Miami area pet stores. Someone broke into the home of an 87-year-old canary breeder in Kendall, Florida and the next day two men were attempting to sell the birds to at least three local pet stores. Detectives recovered 150 of the stolen birds from one pet store, but the two suspects and the 350 missing birds have flown the coop. The birds are valued at $12,500. (Source local10.com)
