Royal Canadian Mounted Police arrest Alberta man who U.S. say is a suspect in international cyber crime
. Eric Bogle, 23, was charged with fraud in connection with identification information; the RCMP has executed a search warrant for his residence. In the arrest warrant, it alleges Bogle, using the user name "Swat Runs Train" on an undercover FBI website, possessed stolen account information for at least 32 credit cards. He used the undercover website as a tool to try to sell the information he had. The United States Attorney’s Office said "the two-year undercover 'carding' operation protected over 400,000 potential cyber crime victims and prevented over $205 million in losses." A total of 24 people were arrested, including 11 in the United States. (Source winnipegfreepress.com)
