Why are U.S. Retailers suddenly all showing up in Canada? First it was Marshalls, followed by J. Crew. Now Ann Taylor, Target, and Nordstrom are all making plans to open stores in Canada next year. Canadian retailer Reitmans not worried about the arrival of Target.
The woman's clothing retailer said it believes Target will generate traffic that will filter into its stores. Vancouver thieves target high end electronic bikes. A Vancouver business is out almost $50,000 after some ecologically minded thieves made off with a dozen high-end electric bikes. The public gets credit for the arrest of two jewelry store robbers in Prince George, Canada
. A jewelry store smash and grab went really badly for two thieves; timing was the issue. They had no idea that one of the thieves would be tackled by a customer, an off-duty RCMP officer who was only a few stores away.
