Delray Beach, FL - April 12, 2016 -
Best Security Industries (BSI), a
premiere provider of certified, pre-owned and private label electronic article
surveillance (EAS) systems and engineered IP video solutions, today announced
the addition of a new line of private label Acousto-Magnetic (AM) Electronic
Article Surveillance (EAS) systems, branded Centurion AM.
The Centurion AM Systems come in a variety of configurations including
stand-alone pedestals, door frame mounted and concealed loop solutions that
provide design flexibility to meet a wide variety of retail requirements. The
Centurion AM systems are compatible with Sensormatic tags and labels.
Centurion AM systems were engineered with advanced features in mind such as
remote tuning designed to reduce on-site service expense and system downtime. In
most cases, remote tuning can provide real time service without the need for an
onsite service technician.
To provide a higher level of security, the systems automatically detect system
interference caused by EAS jammers and when used with the optional smartPager,
instantly notify management of a potential ORC event.
Centurion AM systems also deliver integrated people counting functionality which
can provide the right data, in the right format, at any time for greater
operational efficiencies throughout the entire organization.
“Our new line of Centurion AM systems further complement our private label RF
offerings,” said John Gantenbein, President of BSI. “We are constantly striving
to provide our customers with superior quality technology at lower price points.
Most retailers think of us as the leader in certified, pre-owned EAS systems and
components but our ever expanding line of private label systems make BSI a
viable option when making decisions on new or ongoing loss prevention programs.”
Best Security Industries (BSI) is the premiere EAS reseller providing
hard-to-find legacy solutions through its Certified, Pre-owned systems and
components. The company is now the largest independent distributor of EAS
Systems, hard tags, labels and accessories.
Additionally, BSI manufactures its own line of private label EAS systems and
components that are compatible and interchangeable with Sensormatic and
Checkpoint tags and systems. Its products include EAS systems, security tags,
detachers, deactivators, lanyards, security labels, benefit denial ink tags, and
other peripherals. Its value-added services also include express exchange and
repair on most EAS deactivators and detachers, a depot program for refurbishing
and warehousing a variety of EAS components, consulting and integrations. The
company also offers comprehensive trade-in and lease options as well as a full
procurement program where it will buy excess inventory from the retailer.
The company also offers a full suite of analog and IP-based video systems and
advanced analytics and specializes in analog-to-IP phased upgrades as well as
design and installation of new, high definition IP solutions, cloud-based
services and open architecture platforms. For more information visit
