Three member ORC gang hits Walmart in Bremerton, WA
Two Bremerton women were arrested Monday
for allegedly stealing $1,200 in merchandise from the
Port Orchard Walmart with the help of a device to remove
security tags. Surveillance tape Dec. 10 from the store
shows the women, with a third person still at large,
selecting items, some of which had security devices
attached. The devices were removed "to bypass the alarm
system" before the three left the store.

County celebrates a good year for the Holiday Task
Force; 328 arrests, $65,000 in stolen goods recovered.
Lt. George Edlund is proud of his Holiday Task Force;
the 34 year veteran of the Knox County Sheriff’s
department headed the unit which worked closely with
Knoxville area loss prevention professionals.

South Carolina mother and son using two way radios to
steal from a Bi-Lo store.
The son, Bradley Dunaway filled the
basket of an electronic cart, then drove it out of the
store, the store manager quickly followed behind. The
manager had recognized Dunaway from a previous
shoplifting stop. Dunaway’s mother was also arrested,
using a two-way radio to talk about which items to
steal. The total of the 10 items stolen was $50.
