Axonify Announces HR Focus as its South African Reseller

Next generation eLearning solution key to reducing knowledge gaps in the workplace

WATERLOO, ON, January 9, 2013 – Today, Axonify Inc. was pleased to announce that HR Focus has joined Axonify’s Partner Program as its exclusive African reseller. HR Focus is headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa and is the country’s leading provider of best-of-breed Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, HR Focus will resell, implement and provide customer support for Axonify—a next generation eLearning platform—in Africa.

“We are excited to have HR Focus represent Axonify in the South African market,” said Carol Leaman, President & CEO, Axonify Inc. “Their HCM experience, deep knowledge of talent management, extensive sales and professional service team make them an ideal partner to bring our next generation eLearning solution to South Africa.”

Axonify is rapidly growing its partner community to meet the worldwide demand for its unique eLearning solution. The platform enables organizations to deliver reinforced, bite-sized training to employees in a fun, personalized and rewarding way.

“We discovered Axonify through the exposure they received In Fortune Magazine as the winner of the 2012 Fortune Tech Startup Idol competition,” said Puven Ramasamy, Owner of HR Focus. “We immediately realized that this type of training solution could change the face of corporate learning in South Africa, and then throughout the African market.”

The South African government has launched two major initiatives making the Axonify solution highly relevant in that market. The first is a country-wide focus on the reduction of safety incidents. Axonify has been proven to significantly reduce workplace accidents and claims in major North American organizations.

The second initiative is to increase job awareness and skill sets by improving education throughout the country. Currently, 50% of the employed population in South Africa is under-educated. The South African government is focused on improving the level of education including learning in the workplace. Axonify allows businesses to seamlessly deliver specific job-related content to workers. The platform is adaptive and helps eliminate knowledge gaps by assessing and tracking each individual’s progress. When an employee exhibits a lack of knowledge in a particular area, the platform delivers training in that area to that employee until they show a significant level of comprehension.

“To move our country forward, South Africa needs solutions like Axonify to help organizations reduce their skill gaps and be more competitive,” adds Ramasamy.
