Here's what's happening at the 2013 event:

MORE Companies: The current number of companies registered is outpacing 2012 by 14%. If this trend continues, the event will see more than 115 retail and consumer good product manufacturer companies in attendance. This statistic showcases that the Retail Asset Protection Conference is the go-to event for all types and sizes of retailers. MORE Retailers: Registration is up 58% over this time last year, with more than 300 retail executives registered. With this, we're likely to keep our 1 retail individual to every 1 exhibitor individual ratio, and if not surpass it with more than 1 retailer for every exhibitor individual.

Many companies are bringing teams of five or more executives: 7-Eleven, Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone, Big Lots, Dick's Sporting Goods, Dollar General, Family Dollar, jcpenney, Lowe's, PETCO, PetSmart, Publix, Home Depot, Home Depot Canada, Target, The Pep Boys, Walmart and Walgreens.

MORE Dedicated Exhibit Hall Time: You spoke, we listened. At the 2013 event, RILA has added an Exhibit Hall Preview Hour on Monday, April 29, from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. This time will focus on engaging the retailers much earlier in the conference. Use this hour to schedule appointments, have kick-off conversations, or to utilize your networking from the Welcome Reception the night before for demos during this hall preview hour.

MORE Chances to Network: Golf is moving to Sunday, so now you can attend both the charity golf outing on Sunday and the complimentary training session on Wednesday afternoon. And with the event and hotel held in the same location, you are guaranteed to run into retailers in the restaurants and hotel lobbies.
